The Heat started off strong beating the Clearwater cowboys in the first game but quickly lost momentum when they lost to Arvada Colts 8 to 7 putting the Heat into the losers bracket.  The Heat battled back winning 4 games in a row defeating the Omaha Diamond Spirit, the Arizona Cotton Kings, Topeka Kansas and the Seattle Studs to place them amongst 5 other teams in the SWEET SIX!  The heat was defeated by the Santa Barbara Foresters.  The Santa Barbara Foresters remained undefeated throughout the tournament and took the world title for 2011.  Congratulations to Santa Barbara for the World Series Title and to the Heat for a very successful season.
