2007 World Champions
In 2007 the Havasu Heat went 47 – 2 in league play to win the Pacific Southwest Championship and the NBC Pacific Southwest Regional. The Heat went undefeated to win the 73rd Annual NBC World Championship and became the first team from Arizona to win the Tournament. The Heat was the offensive Juggermaut throughout the tournament, leading all teams with a .345 batting average and cranking out 11 homeruns, more than doubling the previous team high of 5 homeruns. The team outscored its seven tournament opponents by a score of 71 – 20 with 40 of those runs coming in the first four innings of their games. The 2007 Heat team broke many records that year that might not be broken again for quite some time! |
